Live Demo
Facilitator builds a live app from scratch using Claude Code. PRD prompt → code generation → iteration. You see the full prompting strategy in real time.

Lab 1
3 escalating prompting challenges. Learn system prompts, role prompts, and context-rich prompting. Identify bad prompts, rewrite them, compare the difference.

Tea Break
30-second app pitch to your neighbour. Networking. Install Claude Code CLI during this window.

Lab 2
Run Claude Code on a starter repo. Prompt it to add a multi-file feature. Watch it read the codebase, create a plan, and execute file by file. Approve or reject each change.

Module
Idea → user stories → architecture prompt → component prompts → integration. Introduction to Kiro’s spec-driven approach. Context management across sessions.

Lunch
Write your app’s one-paragraph PRD during or after lunch. Install Kiro IDE. Come back ready to build your capstone.

Lab 3
Open your project in Kiro. Describe a feature. Watch it generate requirements.md, design.md, and tasks.md. Review the plan, edit it, approve it, then watch Kiro execute each task.

Break
Recharge. Facilitator available for 1-on-1 help on your capstone idea.

Lab 4
4 pre-broken app scenarios: frontend render error, API 404, logic bug, missing dependency. Paste full error + context → Claude diagnoses → you understand what changed and why.
4:15–5:15
Build Sprint
Build your own full-stack app using Claude Code + Kiro + GitHub. Facilitator circulates. Peer support encouraged. This is the real thing.
Lab 5
Push your capstone to GitHub → connect to AWS → trigger auto-deploy → get a live public URL. Everyone leaves with a working link they can share.
Demo Day
3–4 participants demo their app. Tool selection guide recap. Security best practices. Resources and community. Certificate distribution.
